Ang sabi lang po kase nung lalaki ay need lang nya ng customer para sumali sa raffle, pandagdag points lang den kase nya dahil estudyante pa sya. But then after pumirma sa raffle ay isinama nya ako sa isang office. Sabi nya dun kukunin ang token. After nun sa loob may kumausap saken at talagang pinupush niya ako na kumuha. Sabe ko nagmamadali ako at sa ibang araw na lang siya mag explain. But she insist na sandali na lang daw at matatapos na. My sister that I should met at SM sta. Rosa is already calling me. I ask my sister to come since I can't go outside of the office. Still they are insisting me. They say pa na itry lang naman natin if maapproved ka. Sabe ko wala pa ako Budget para diyan. Sabi nila wala ako ilalabas na pera. Until dumating sa punto na may pinapasulat saken tas ung isa may tinatanong na mga personal information ko. Then they ask me to swipe my credit card. Without my knowledge nasa labas na ng office nila ang kapatid ko, sabe nya hindi daw sya pinapapasok sa kung nasaan ako. They stop her.
Nakapasok lang siya sa loob ng natapos na nila aq papirmahin at ipaswipe ang card ko.

Pahelp din po ako. Gusto ko din pong iterminate yung contract ko with this Insurance Company. Sa galing po kase nila mag sales talk napapayag nila ako kahit nung umpisa sabi nila walang ilalabas na pera and all tinanong nila kung may credit card or atm and since meron ako pareho ininvite nila ako sa office nila para daw sa raffle. After makuha yung info ko para doon sa raffle may nagpresent saken about sa savings daw and to make the story short napakuha nila ako at nagbayad ako ng almost 6k through my cc. Pag uwe ko sa bahay saka lang ako nahimas-masan at nakapag isip-isip na baka nakascam ako. Pahelp po ako salamat po

Hi. Same here po.
If you want to cancel your policy, balik po kayo sa kanila, sa nakausap ninyo pong agent at pagagawin po kayo ng cancellation letter. Susubukan po nilang kausapin na ituloy mo ang contract pero kung ayaw mo na po talaga ituloy, panindigan mo po sa kanila, medyo matagal po silang kausapin. Ganyan rin po ang ginawa ko at pinaprocess na po nila ngayon. Hoping na makuha ko na rin po. 30-45 days ang processing.
Nakakalugkot pero 2k ang deduction para daw po sa policy fee.

Sana maayos nyo na rin po.

Pag di nila nabalik ang pera, I'll file an official complaint on Insurance Commission.

Last January 2019, I was at the Robinsons Mall when an agent invited me for a raffle and asked if I have card with me, and since I have I was qualified daw. To cut the story short, I invested 25,200 for 1yr insurance pay. I paid it using my CC. 1yr later, I tried to refund my account but was also encourage to continue my insurance plan, magaling sila magsalita and di ko na daw mare-refund ung insurance ko since 1yr da daw nakalipas, 30 days lang daw ang allowed, eh di ko napansin na may ganun.. so again, I didn't know what to do.. I was deceived and I paid another 25.2k (Jan2020) hoping na mag mature or something pero after 10yrs pa daw...... Now, since it's pandemic, di ako naghulog last January 2021... may chance pa po ba ako makuha ung hinulog ko even after 2 yrs ago??? Hoping someone here can help me. Pinaghirapan ko rin naman po ung pera na binigay ko... Thank you.

I've tried sending email to their email address custom***@manilabankerslife.com however their mailbox is full that's why my cancellation request wasn't send yet. What should I do? Someone help me please, they forced and pressured me to get an insurance on the spot and taken 21K on my account yesterday.

You can try calling them thru their telephone number posted on their website. Or you can try messaging them on Facebook. If you still cannot send your email, I think it is better to call the main office, so the management is immediately notified of your intention to cancel.

What happened with me is that I emailed my cancellation request to customers***, but they still ask me to visit their extension office at a mall where I got the insurance. I thought when I go there, the matter would be resolved, but the agents insisted that I should not cancel and all, and they say things that it is not that easy to cancel and wala naman silang lapses so bakit ako magcacancel. But I know that within the free-look period, I have all the right to cancel and get a refund. Long story short, it got so ugly. I got mad until yung manager na kumausap sa akin, saying sige iprocess na nila. January 29 pa ito, but today lang ako naka-receive ng decision ng management approving my request. I am processing the documents for refund, pero nasa 2k din yung nabawas sa kabuuan ng pera na binigay ko.

Hi, we had the same experience po we were force to get the policy and d na namin alam nangyari kanina what happened is we were in the mall with my partner and sabi nila no commitment daw this is just for free raffle were we can win 150k ang galing nila magsalita, yung marketing strategy nila na makapanlinlang nang tao , una kinausap nila kami chinika napaka friendly at yung isa nagpakilala pa na taga same kami nang province well ako I don't usually do this ma deceive nila ako sa mabulaklaking salita, sinabi ko diko dala ang savings ko and naghahanap sila nang savings acc para ma qualified, any atm na may laman, una sketchy pero napaniwala nila kami sa raffle and yung partner ko lang daw qualified kase may dala siyang bdo atm eh kinausap,kinausap nila akala ko 5 mins lang umabot nang 1 hour and 30 mins ang lala and na force nila yung partner ko and to cut the story short sinabihan nila partner ko na eh ta try lang daw nila if ma approve wala silang sinabi na this is for payment na nagulat nalang kami and sabi ko kanina we need to cancel it and sabi wala d daw pwede, pagkaabot namin sa bahay may contact pala na we can cancel within 15 days which is nawala sa isip ko sa galit ko nag sisigaw talaga ako kanina sa alabang branch kase 4.5
k ang nilabas nang partner ko which is malaking halaga na sa amin. Nawala sa isip ko talaga nag away pa kami nang partner ko. Now I will go on tuesday babalik kami sa mismong brach kong saan nakuha ang policy. Kaya pala dinadaldal ako ni ate kase ayaw nila ma distruct yung partner ko kase napapirma na nila nang papers and all. Na arrange pa nila sa auto debit yung acc niya. I was so angry hanggang ngayon nag away kami nang partner ko about this. I really don't know they did that. Beware everyone, naawa din ako kanina kase naiisip ko may kasabayan kami.

Sir GM and sir W A balita po sa cancellation nyo ? I got there yesterday, it got so ugly that nagkakasigawan na, galit kami galit din sila, ang rude ng mga agents at pati manager, pag kuhaan ng pera ambabait pero pag cancellation ang rurude, in the end pinagawa nila ko ng handwritten cancellation letter signed by the branch manager at pinasurrender sakin ung policy. Ipprocess daw nila. Message mo naman ako sa fb ko or reply here, makikibalita lang.

Timeline po ng process sa akin:

January 29 afternoon - I signed with the insurance company
January 29 evening - After checking MB's background, I decided to cancel, so nag-letter ako via e-mail
February 1 - Nag-message sa akin ang agent to visit their office
Feb 2 - I visited them, they asked me to write another letter
Feb 18 - I have been notified that my cancellation request has been approved.
Feb 19- I went again to their office to sign some documents and surrender my policy
March 3 - Pumasok na refund sa credit card account ko, pero deducted ng 2k. Not sure kung may effect yung kung credit card, debit card, o cash ka nagbayad sa kung gaano kabilis maproseso ang refund.

I cancelled this policy on the same day I was forced to get this one. What is the status? Please update me. And please do not deceive people by asking if we have credit card and ATM and you are giving a gift for users only to find out that you are selling life insurance and force people to get one. Please PROVIDE PROPER TRAINING AND POSITIVE SCRIPTS TO YOUR AGENTS ON HOW TO SELL YOUR PRODUCTS EFFECTIVELY..BY EXPLAINING WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS WE COULD GET AND NOT ASKING IF WE HAVE ATM ETC ETC THEY LOOK LIKE SCAMMERS..WHY ON THE SPOT THEY ARE ASKING IF WE HAVE PLENTY OF MONEY ON OUR BANK ACCOUNTS MY GOD!!! I have the same problem po and I canceled it the next day. Sobrang galing nila mag manipulate ng tao. I was forced to get the insurance na ndi ko naman po gusto. Please update naman po kng ano status ng request for cancellation.

Nag-email po ako sa [email protected] (please check sa website nila yung email ad). Nagreply sila, ang sabi they have a 30-day process daw for this. And then the agent from SM North EDSA contacted me to personally come to their office to further discuss this matter. I was hoping for a quick resolution, but pinipilit nila akong wag mag-cancel. Long story short, nagalit na ako sa kanila. Then the manager came out to talk to me. Pinagawan nila ako ng letter,saying na after ko silang makausap, magka-cancel pa rin ako. So, I did. Magdadalawang linggo na simula noon pero wala pa ring progress. Ang sinasagot lang "please bear with us" Sana ma-resolve na, kasi nakakagalit ang ginagawa nila talaga.

I was forced to get a life insurance worth 3000. It was not my plan and told them that I need to speak with my husband first..they don't want to listen and insist..it's already late and I need to go home. My children are waiting for me..they haven't eaten yet..3000 is a big money for me specially now pandemic...I want a refund..everything we discussed is not in the contract. It said here I only have unlimited check up with Kaiser..They did not give me the burial form..I just noticed it when I went home..because I'm in a hurry. I just signed the contract just to finished the conversation with them and go home..we had a fight me and my husband regarding this ..please help me cancel the plan and refund my payment. Thank you

I just want to complain about those agent in Manila Bankers in SM Nort Edsa. Forcing you to tell them how much you have in your debit card. If they found out you have plenty in your savings, they will force you to come with them bcoz they will give you the prize.If you ask them what is that for, they will only tell you that they promoting the Manila Bankers and you will get a prize. They will not tell you that Manila Bankers is about insurance until they took you to the office and put you on the hot seat. So irritating.

I experienced the same situation like yours, Ms.Jessa just yesterday when me and my youngest sister went there! At first they appear very accommodating and when it came to the details of the talk, they are asking questions that are very private (like how much money you have in your ATM, when is the last time you do transaction to it and if they can see your recent transaction receipt which on my end I failed to refuse to do so and it's my bad) and it made me feel uncomfortable. Their strategy is to say that we can win prizes using their bullshit roulette and after that they will lead you to their office, a kind of holding place for networking look office. Out of respect, I let the "manager" whom I was assigned with to finish her brief discussion of what MB Life is and how they operate. After getting the necessary information that they need, they will FORCE you to sign up for their insurance company leaving you no options as an autonomous person. I felt very disrespected when the manager I was talking with made a smirk and showed me her callous attitude when I said that I have to consult my decision to my wife since we have this communal agreement for spending and taking care for our material condition, thinking and concluding as if I cannot decide for my own and have an active decision over the situation that very moment because their premise is "IPON NAMAN PO ITO AT SA INYO NAMAN ITO MAPUPUNTA." They are very assertive to the point that they will try to control you over your own active decisions by manipulating you through the sketchy benefits you are about to get once you sign up and they will also attack your character as if they have known you very well. They will try to extract as much information like if you have other sources of income (business, gigs and rakets or freelance jobs) and EXPLOITS YOU not ENCOURAGES YOU to make an investment because their tactics is to MANIPULATE and CONTROL you of HOW MUCH YOU HAVE TO INVEST BASED ON THE MONEY IN YOU HAVE IN YOUR DEBIT CARDS OR CREDIT CARDS not HOW MUCH MONEY YOU ARE ABLE TO DECIDE FOR YOUR OWN TO MAKE AN INVESTMENT.

Same thing happened with me at the same branch - SM North EDSA. Nakakagigil kasi feeling ko nabudol ako. Here I am writing this before mag first due date ko ng payment in quarterly terms. I have no plans of continuing this shit already. Inisip ko na lang nagastos ko ung 4,000 pesos na pauna kong hulog. Never again. Okay sana kung naexplain nang maayos everything pero wala. And sa dami ng complaints na nakikita ko, I'd rather end paying as early as possible.

Kasama ko din ung friend ko noon tapos ginisa kami. Pinipilit nila maglabas na ng money friend ko kahit wala. Very traumatizing.

I was told that this was a 10% Savings Account and has free insurance and medical here or abroad form Kaizer.
So I bought their product with 50,400 pesos.
However, since I needed money, I have decided to close this one and get a full refund. Upon checking their reviews on Google, it says there that this is a SCAM. So the more I want my money back. Upon going to their Head office in Makati, Their Officer Victoria said that I will get no refund since I used all of my money for a one-year life insurance.

They scammed me. This is not a 10% savings as their agent told me during the sales.

They are liars. I don't need insurance because I already have one.

Hi! They told me also that this is like time deposit just like its tagname money saver but when I get a refund they wont allow because I consumed it already unless I will continue it till 5 yrs then I will get the yearly treat. I just started last june 2020 at robinsons galleria. it is so sad insurances are becoming a scam strategy.

Hello po ask ko lang po kng gano katagal po before kayo nagpa close ng account? I was also manipulated by their agents. I didn't want to get it in the first place pero they distracted and told me na ndi pa madededuct sa account ko. So I canceled it the next day na nakuha yung plan and requested for refund. Now, I have to wait for 30 days for their approval. But I also filed a complaint on Insurance Commission about this.
